Indivisible Mandarin hosted a terrific advocacy/social gathering on August 9th at Panera on San Jose Blvd. We talked and ate treats from Panera’s bakery, all while writing postcards to voters in Mandarin's District 7 for our favorite progressive School Board Candidate, SARAH MANNION!
Thirty-two enthusiastic folks wrote 700 postcards that Friday afternoon, and every single card had a personal message from one of our Indivisible Mandarin members. Impressively, all 700 cards made it to the mailbox before the end of the day!
The most exciting part of the afternoon was the arrival of SARAH MANNION herself to meet her supporters and join in the postcard writing. She brought “Thank You” notes to some of our members who had been to events to support her in the past.
It was a very successful event, and we all enjoyed the opportunity to take meaningful action to help Sarah WIN against her Moms for Liberty opponent.
